Kia ora!
My name is Arthur. I grew up in a small village in the south of France and have always been fascinated by wildlife. From watching nature documentaries to exploring my backyard in search of lizards and others critters, the natural world has captivated me for as long as I can remember.
This fascination led me to my passion for photography, trying to capture the beauty of the world around us. Years later, I discovered portrait photography which led me to Paris where I ended up producing fashion and commercial visuals. After some time spent in studios, my love for nature caught up with me and took me to Aotearoa New Zealand to volunteer in conservation.
I ended up never leaving. I feel incredibly lucky, and very grateful to now call this beautiful place home. These days, I’m based in Christchurch and work in conservation, helping to protect some of Aotearoa’s unique taonga species. My camera, never too far.
